I started off with the basic dual lens fixed focus camera; it was a very down scale model, not nearly as good as the one that I now picture.

Oh, yes, I took a great many pictures with it ... only a few of them were good. The pictures, when developed, were about 2 1/4 " square and composition was not a very big factor. I tried, but, didn't seem to get it.

Later, I got a 35 mm Mamiya which improved the pix a lot although I ruined quite a few by neglecting to remove lenses that I'd applied. That's why I have so very few of the safari ones. Indeed it's still in my memory, yet, I regret the lack of prints.

Eventually, I replaced the Mamiya with a fine Leica, which I enjoyed very much and which helped to advance my skills.

Then came my digital camera, a Nikon Coolpix 900! I've used it ever since and that good Leica just stays in its bag.

Later, I'll show you those pix which I regard as my best; there's one of a storm coming up over the Pool of London shot across the bow of the Cutty Sark; another is of a lightning blasted tree. Well, there aren't too many of them!
