Brycrest Bean Blossom (May) was a lovely brindle bitch whom I bought from Mary Jane Bernick; she injured her leg as a puppy and could not be shown.

I named her after the beautiful black and white blooms of the European favus bean, which are also fragrant. I was unaware of a more vulgar connotation of the name but was speedily told by some of my earthier friends.

She produced Ch Brycrest Pax Domino by her sire, Ch Brycrest Gambling Man.

She was an extra sweet house dog; she died from a gastric cancer at 12 ½ years.
