wardrobes-imago

Wardrobe's Imago (Tam) was a lovely brindle bitch whom we imported from Connie and Wilson Wiley (Wardrobes) as a young puppy.

She arrived in a plywood crate which had been painted bright blue; after being in it for 24 hours, US Customs wouldn't let us have her for yet another 12 hours, although they did give her water. She was really hungry the next morning. As I recall, she was only about ten weeks old.

Next thing, we had her ears cropped; in retrospect, that was a poor introduction to the USA for her. Our Auted's Cindy (Cindy) adopted her and they had such happy times together

I showed her a bit, without success.

Somewhere in there, I dosed her and re-dosed her with an inferior vaccine and she developed leptospirosis.

We bred her to Wardrobe's Silver Gauntlet and she had four puppies, including Auted's Dragonlady (Lizzie).

After that, her health deteriorated as her bad nephritis got worse. Eventually we had to sacrifice her. Poor little girl.
