This is a wonderful monograph on the German Boxers of the thirties, by Allon Dawson (Stainburndorf) of UK. He was a prominent Boxer breeder of the thirties and he had this study printed privately. There are pictures which may not be found elsewhere.
I was so lucky to have it given to me by a friend, Pat Witter. She found it among family papers, while packing to move. It’s fragile and, although I had to disassemble it for scanning, to avoid more deterioration, I'm being very careful in handling it. Lagniappe. After I got it, there was a request, on the Show Boxer Forum, for some information about a specific German dog, from a lady living in New Zealand. Yes, he is in it and I was able to send her two pictures of him.
