Future Plans

We first moved to Houston and then to Pasadena. After Ted and I got the divorce, he moved back to Houston and I located in Deer Park.

Deer Park was not the place that I sought and I wanted more space and, yes, a rural atmosphere. I have found it in Porter, which is in Montgomery County. I've greatly enjoyed living here. It is busily changing now, since US 59, its main access, is being converted to US 69. It is to be a main, international highway and all of its accessory roads are following suit.

But, to me, it still has the appeal of the piney woods and it is my home.

These woods are well populated with people but we still have deer, coyotes and even wild pigs.

The hawks circle and screech as they look for meals; there are barn owls and, sometimes, eagles. Yes, we have snakes, too.

The heat and humidity can be bad but that’s the way that it goes.

Enjoy and try some of the links.
